Eventhough parents have the responsibility of bringing their child to school, the School Board Conseil scolaire de district catholique Centre-Sud can offer busing to and from school to students who reside and are currently registered in a school of its jurisdiction.  This service is free of charge to students and their parents.   Please note that school busing is a privilege and not a right.  This privilege can be revoked if rules are not respected.

Francobus is the board’s transportation service.  Requests for busing services are made by filling out a form available from the school’s office.  No adults are allowed aboard the bus.   A student can benefit from busing services if he or she resides in Frère-André school zone and resides at a walking distance over:

• 0.8 km for JK and SK students
• 1.6 km for grades 1 to 6 students

All students must walk to the bus stop with their parents.
Students can walk to their bus stop up to:

• 0.4 km for JK and SK students
• 0.8 km for grades 1 to 6 students

Francobus considers the duration of a bus run when planning bus circuits.  When possible, students  are on board a bus no longer then 60 minutes for elementary school students.

In order to ensure proper security, all students from JK, SK, grades 1 and 2 MUST be accompanied and greeted by an adult at the bus stop.  If the responsible adult is not at the bus stop when children descend, the child will stay on board and will be brought back to school.  Parents must then come to school to pick up the child.
